Ember at blue hour: a basalt and tufa facade on a Kentron side street, amber light in its deep-set windows.
Nine rooms · Basalt house · 1938

A pause with character.

Behind heavy doors on a Kentron side street: nine rooms, warm light, and no lobby music. You have already chosen Yerevan. Choose quiet.

The character

The quietest house in the city centre.

Behind the heavy basalt doors, the noise of Kentron disappears. We built Ember to be the quietest house in the city centre — 300mm stone walls, secondary glazing on every street-facing window, and a courtyard that swallows the rest.

There is no piped music, no lobby scent, no upsell at check-in. There is a night porter, a small bar that stays open as long as you do, and coffee from four in the morning for the airport run.

9 of 9 rooms · Lit by hand, from inside

One window per room, nine in all. They come on by hand, from the inside, as the house wakes for the evening.

The bar

Six seats. Open as long as you are.

No last orders, no music, no queue. Write your room number on the pad and the porter will square it away.

The direct handoff

Written to the house. Answered by the house.

The courtyard seen through the gate arch, with parking under the trees behind the house.
Behind the gate · the courtyard
The courtyard

Parking sits behind the gate, reached through the arch rather than off the street.

The morning

A later start is a conversation with the house, not a line on a booking screen.

The porter

You write to the house, not a call centre. A person reads it, and a person answers.
